What we do with your data.

Hearth exists to save homeschool parents time, not to sell their data. We collect the minimum we need to generate a plan and nothing else.

Your student profiles

Name, age, grade level, pedagogy, subjects, hours per week — stored against your account so you don't have to re-enter each week. Delete any student and everything tied to them is deleted with it.

Generated lesson plans

Objectives, activities, materials, timings — stored so you can edit and re-open them. We don't train models on your plans. We don't share them with a third party.

Children's data

Hearth is used BY parents and teachers ABOUT children, not by children directly. We only store the information parents explicitly enter (first name or nickname, age, grade). We do not collect behavioral data on any child.
